Duo Nim is a duo based in Amsterdam formed by saxophonist Aina Font and cellist Diana Sanz.
They started as a duo during their master studies at Conservatorium Van Amsterdam and after years of playing together they became a multifaceted ensemble; classical and contemporary repertoire, improvisation and landscape music...
A smaller ensemble such a duo allows Nim to create a soliloquy impression; a layered monologue of intimate self-reflections projected to the audience.

MINIATURAS PROJECT
Miniaturas (Jeunes Talents award 2023) is an eclectic and rather unusual proposal through which the Nim duo would like to invite you to discover the sound imaginary of the last century with a small anachronistic prelude, an ode to previous times.
Our project "Miniaturas" presents a program of classical/world music consisting of short pieces from different cultures and backgrounds.
Each of the pieces has a strong theatrical character, inviting us to dive into their story, colors and flavors.
