Covid/infections safety: In order to make this event safer for the disabled members of our community, and as anyone can develop a post-infection chronic illness, we ask that you take a covid test before coming if you have any covid symptoms (runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, shortness of breath, coughing, elevated temperature, loss of taste or smell) If you have symptoms and your test is negative, please wear a well-fitting FFP2 or KN95 face mask at the event. There will be free masks available at the entrance. If you have symptoms and wearing a mask isn't possible for you, we will be sorry to miss you, and thank you for staying home, looking forward to seeing you at a later performance. We appreciate you wearing a mask even without symptoms.
Accessibility: Roode Bioscoop is situated at Haarlemmerplein 7, 1013 HP Amsterdam
The main space has step free, wheelchair access. However, the toilets themselves are not wheelchair accessible: there are 2 small all-gender cubicles in the venue. Audience members will be sitting on wooden folding chairs. Please DM us if you have accessibility related questions and we'll do our best to find the answers.
Content warning: As well as our earlier repertoire, we will be premiering 2 new songs, one of which mentions sexual assault and sexual trauma. Our choir is meant to be a space of collective care and healing, to carry the experiences of queer (especially BIPOC) individuals.
