All art is behavior, and instant composing is specific behavior in the sense that the musicians involved create and articulate sonic constructions by interacting a la minute, in a split second. The IMPROPER trio musicians feel connected to this experimental approach and process bringing in an unpredictable mix of different frames of references, materials and influences, capricious gognituitive navigations, communicative individual temperaments and playful strategies. Zountsa / Groven
Greek alto saxophonist Tania Zountsa and Canadian violinist Marielle Groven met in the wilds of Amsterdam’s creative music scene. Their music embraces a lyrical approach to free improvised music and a shared love of sound colour and texture.

Bioluminus
Bioluminus is an Amsterdam-based free jazz trio formed in 2021 by Argentinian saxophonist Ada Rave, Canadian contrabassist Aaron Lumley and Dutch drummer Onno Govaert. The group’s music combines the propulsive flow of energy music, with a subtly attuned approach to collective improvisation.
