“Não confundir com” is a trio of young Portuguese improvisers: vocalist Nazaré da Silva (based in Lisbon), double bassist Zé Almeida (based in Brussels) and João Gato (based in Copenhagen). For the first time playing in The Netherlands, they bring a fresh yet unexpectedly lyrical approach to improvised music, rooted in a profound sense of spatial awareness and communication.

Guitarist Henk Zwerver, double bassist Wilbert De Joode and drummer Michael Vatcher are three luminaries of the Amsterdam improvised music scene. Having played in a myriad of projects throughout the past decades, they have joined forces as a trio only quite recently, having released their album BRISKY last May. A unique opportunity to witness the craft of three brilliant improvisers in perfect sonic synergy.
