WAZO BEAN x Roode Bioscoop

From the 26th to the 30th of July 2025, the primal-soul collective WAZO BEAN (lead by singer-songwriter Carolina Gemmell) will be doing a residency at the much beloved Roode Bioscoop theatre.

This residency will be a cornerstone in the creation process for their debut album; “Ways of Being”. The band will use the spaces in the Roode Bioscoop as a doors-open artistic laboratory in which they will rehearse, record, co-compose, create the album’s artwork, perform, etc etc etc… Collaborating on different evenings with scenographer Gabrielle Migraine, stand-up comedian Diederik Zuurmond (July 28th, 20:30), wazo bean large ensemble (July 29th, 19:00), and electronic music producer halfpastseven (July 30th, 19:00).

Almost every event during the week will be freely open for the public, so feel extremely welcome to join our process, as a witness and/or participant, we would love to have you there!
