XILLAN (Xillan Macrooy) is een Surinaams-Nederlandse verhalenverteller in muziek, literatuur en theater. Als product van meerdere werelden speelt de voortdurende transformatie van identiteit een belangrijke rol in zijn werk; XILLAN is een ware shapeshifter. In 2025 en 2026 onderzoekt hij als maker nieuwe manieren om zijn meervoudigheid te vieren, met het doel om nieuwe artistieke werelden te bouwen die zowel ruimte bieden aan (Surinaamse queer) legacy en innovatie.
