Pianist Evan van der Feen and singer Carolina Gemmell have been playing together since the very start of their studies in Holland, 4 years ago. With instant composition and adventurous improvisations at the core of their musical partnership, they have developed a vast repertoire of songs; fantasy-world lullabies, impressionist harmonies, delicate melodies paired with wildly imaginative lyrics with a conversational tone.
Seeking to expand their duo sound, they formed their “Super Duper & Fun” quartet last spring with two explosive talents David Guerreiro and Ludvig Søndergaard. Having won the second prize at the Keep an Eye jazz competition, they are now working towards their debut album, to be recorded in December.
