CASCO 2: Semey/Ayuso/Seferli/Dumitriu

Overplus is a duo consisting of Bjørk Semey and Carlos Ayuso. This drum and bass duo was born out of curiosity of the intersection between the electronic/acoustic and the hunger for improvisatorically based beat landscapes. It’s about eager hands, thirst, need and everything overplus. As we like to put it, “gurgle, pop, sploing, wobble, bash”.

In this concert/mashup, Overplus meets with two musicians, Antigoni Seferli and George Dumitriu, with a whole new set of written music for this specific lineup that features all the classic elements of: a rock band, a string trio, and at it’s core - drum and bass.

There will be raw rock, samples, messy impro, beats to dance to and sounds to gobble up. Yum!
